These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Vegigo mobile application, website at vegigo.app, and any related services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Vegigo (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Vegigo is a community-powered platform for discovering vegetarian and vegan-friendly restaurants. The Service allows users to:

To use most features, you must create an account using a valid email address or supported third-party authentication provider (e.g., Google). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering and to keep it updated. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information.
Each person may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to manipulate trust scores, verification counts, or any other metric is prohibited and may result in permanent bans.
“User Content” means any photos, captions, reviews, tag verifications, event submissions, or other material you submit to the Service. You retain ownership of your User Content.
By submitting User Content, you grant Vegigo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to use, store, display, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with operating and improving the Service.

Important: Dietary tags and safety information on Vegigo are community-sourced and are not professional dietary or medical advice. Always verify critical dietary information directly with the restaurant, especially for severe allergies or medical conditions.
Vegigo does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any dietary information, tag, or rating on the platform. Restaurant menus and ingredient sourcing change frequently. Vegigo is not liable for any adverse health outcomes resulting from reliance on information provided by the community.
To maintain the integrity of the platform, all users must:
Violation of community guidelines may result in trust score reductions, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination.
If you claim ownership of a restaurant listing, you confirm that you are an authorised representative of that business. You agree not to manipulate your restaurant's tags or ratings by submitting false verifications or soliciting them from others.
Vegigo reserves the right to revoke owner access if misuse is detected.
Points, trust scores, and community badges are virtual recognition features with no monetary value. Vegigo may adjust, reset, or discontinue these features at any time. Attempting to manipulate these systems (e.g., through coordinated voting or fake verifications) is prohibited.
The Vegigo name, logo, design, and software are the property of Vegigo and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our express written permission.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
The Service may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites and services (e.g., maps, analytics). We are not responsible for the content or practices of third parties and encourage you to review their terms and privacy policies.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VEGIGO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, VEGIGO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or SGD 100, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vegigo and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, or for any other reason at our sole discretion, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.
Upon termination, your licence to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the app or email at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
