I always love coco ichibanya in Indonesia back then. And didn’t have it after becoming vegetarian. Then I found that coco ichibanya in Taiwan having vegetarian menus. Can’t help to try it directly, it was good with the omelette over the rice 🤤

Taiwan hits differently, Marugame udon having a vegetarian menu, they have special broth for it, you can take 3 vegetarian dish included from the menu. They have mushrooms, tofu, tofu ball, corn and etc. This can be option if you want to eat with your non-vegetarian co-workers

Turns out B'Steak Grill & Pancake has quite a lot of vegetarian options! 🌱 I only found out after watching a reel from Jakarta Vegetarian Community. Surprisingly, the dishes tasted really clean—no strange smell or aftertaste at all. The prices are also quite affordable. My absolute favorite was the Fried Abalone Mushroom. It was so delicious and definitely the highlight of the meal. I'll definitely be coming back to try more of their vegetarian dishes 😍

When I was in Pontianak, I had to try the famous homemade ice cream served in a coconut shell 🥥🍧 It's incredibly creamy, refreshing, and loaded with toppings like grass jelly, agar jelly, and red beans. They also have tons of flavors to choose from—durian, jackfruit, black sticky rice, chocolate, strawberry, and matcha 🍵 Definitely worth trying if you're in town! Just a note for my vegetarian and vegan friends: it contains dairy(milk)

Found this vegan and vegetarian restaurant in Pontianak called RM Kasih Bumi, where you simply take everything you want, and they calculate the total afterward Their sign says "harga terjangkau" ("affordable prices"), and they really mean it. This whole plate was only Rp35,000. Such an amazing value!

Only in Taiwan, Family mart with a lot of vegetarian options. They even have onigiri vegetarian 👌🏻. #familymart

Today's discovery! Burgreen's Creamy Miso Ramen with gluten-free sweet potato noodles in a rich sesame broth, topped with tofu, corn, and mushrooms. It’s creamy, savory, and rich in umami 👍🏻

Had a busy day today, glad I still got to end it with a Salad Stop’s quinoa bowl packed with all my favorite toppings and sesame dressing. It’s always been the best way to slow down after a long day :) How’s your day, guys?
I'm starting to enjoy cooking more lately. The only downside is that being a lacto-ovo vegetarian and allium-free makes grocery shopping a little challenging. I keep finding sauces and seasonings that look great, only to realize they contain onion or garlic. I'd love to have more options in my pantry, but so far it's been a lot of reading ingredient labels and putting things back on the shelf. Anyone else in the same boat? I'd love to hear your recommendations.

Today I made a napa cabbage wrap~ The fillings were chayote, carrots, sweet and sour tofu, rice vermicelli, and fresh guacamole. I know the guacamole sounds a little random 😂 My avocado was perfectly ripe this morning, so I thought it might add a refreshing touch to the meal—and it turned out surprisingly well! The sweet and sour sauce paired with the, refreshing guacamole created such a fun combination of flavors. Every bite was a pleasant surprise, and I loved it.

Made myself dinner yesterday 🍝 Mushroom and cheese pasta (well… macaroni, because that’s all I had) Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much, but it turned out so good. Loved it so much! Never expected I’d be able to cook something this yummy hohohoho 😋🤭
